About Rose

I have spent much of my career working with people, whether through customer service, caregiving, or helping individuals become more independent in their everyday lives. My background in customer service taught me how important it is to listen, communicate clearly, solve problems, and treat people with respect. Those skills have followed me throughout my career and have been especially valuable in my work as a CNA and caregiver. I have been a CNA since 1995 and completed a refresher course in 2015 through Illinois Valley Community College, with experience in geriatric and memory care. I especially enjoy working with older adults and individuals living with dementia. I believe caregiving is about more than completing daily tasks. It is about getting to know the person-the life they lived, the work they did, their family, their interests, and the memories that are still important to them. My professional experience has also included working with individuals with disabilities .
