About Rose

Hi! My name is Rose and I am a kind, patient, and responsible caretaker. I have been working with children since I graduating from Bard College in 2023 with a degree in music. I taught guitar lessons at a music school in Chicago and got to work with children of all ages. I worked with elementary school students at a YMCA after school and summer camp. I also nannied part time for a 2-year-old and would occasionally care for her 7-year-old brother. I really enjoyed working with these kids, whether we were telling each other stories, singing, cooking, or playing together. I currently work as a music teacher at a daycare/preschool in Manhattan. I strive to be a good listener and to create an environment where kids feel safe to be their authentic selves. I hope to bring my patience, creativity, and sense of humor to your children! Outside of work I love to write songs, read, play basketball, and spend quality time with my cat, Rufus.
