Hello, my name is Rosemary, I am 27 years old and I've been sitting/nannying for families through Care for 3 years. I've worked with anywhere from a single 2-week-old infant to three children of various ages all the way up to 11 years old. I was with my longest family for a year and my most recent family for 8 months, now I'm looking for a new family to help! I enjoy doing arts and crafts, playtime, reading time, educational time, all to keep kids happy and growing! I have great patience and understanding that lends itself wonderfully to making that connection with children. I am CPR and first aid certified, I have experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism along with children who just need more patience and understanding. Rosemary has been our nanny for a couple days now and she is punctual and very reliable! Our 4 years old son has some extra needs and she is very kind and understanding with him. Thank you:)

Rosemary was an excellent childcare provider. My scheduling needs required flexibility on her part and she was warm, enthusiastic and patient with my kiddo no matter what. Much appreciated!

I hired Rosemary after my other sitter cancelled last minute. She was fantastic! My kids loved her, and they asked for her to come back.

Rosemary nannies for our family for 6 weeks in the summer time. She did a great job engaging the children each day with art activities, stories, puzzles, community activities, outdoor activities and more! She was punctual and communicated very well. I would hire her again, and our children would too ;)

Very disappointed to be writing this review. Rosemary was initially responsive to messages. Despite her young age, I reached out to set up an interview. She said she had experience working w/ kids on the spectrum & other DDs. My youngest is medically complex, & b/c of her condition, has many doctor visits while we try to stabilize her condition. I also have a toddler son. Due to COVID restrictions, I am unable to bring him to her appointments. The job posting made it clear that I am a single mother in need of immediate help. This was further clarified during our messages when I told her our current nanny had put in a short notice. Initially, she said she was looking to start work as soon as she moved. Interview was scheduled for 10 am. I got a text from Rosemary at 9:53 letting me know that she had accepted a position w/ another family. She never communicated that she was interviewing elsewhere & has left us in a very tight spot. I would not describe her as responsible/reliable.

I debated on whether I should write this review but I think it's incredibly important for other parents to know, because it's not something we normally notice. Upon meeting Rosemary we were a little skeptical because she didn't seem very enthusiastic about the job. I had figured maybe she was tired from moving from her previous location. I know moves can be stressful! The first trial run seemed to go wonderful according to her detailed relay of their time together. The second time she came we would have believed everything went great if we did not have indoor cameras (so important! I cannot stress that enough!). She almost put off the energy that she didn't even like our kiddos let alone want to play with them or care for them. She seemed very cold and distant. Did not smile once at them or laugh or have fun loving energy. She simply did the tasks at hand. At one point I heard my two year old baby girl crying extremely hard as if something was wrong and Rosemary was not tending to her at all. She was simply ignoring her. At the end of the day there was no mention of it. Later on, my daughter (5) told me that M. (2) was put in time out. I figured she was misinterpreting something. However, my husband and I reviewed the camera footage that night and knew just from her interaction with them that not only did we not want to keep her on board, but something had gone wrong with M. The next morning we asked her what had happened. She gave us an extremely long drawn out story that eventually led up to the fact that she did put M. in timeout for simply not finishing her sandwich. Our two-year-old daughter has very little vocabulary and Hardly ever does anything that requires a time out. And I certainly don't see Anything to do with mealtime requiring a time out. But to each their own. However, I think it's highly inappropriate for a babysitter to discipline your child on the very first day. Especially without discussing it with the parents first or without relaying the information after it happens. I expected the first week to be her getting to know the kiddos and warming up to them, getting the layout of the land. Instead, she was very cold, distant, indifferent, and put our two-year-old daughter in time out. Again, on the first day. I can't imagine what would have happened had we not had cameras and caught it as quick as we did. When my husband told her that we have found somebody else that she simply took the money and walked out of the door without saying goodbye to our kids which just affirmed the fact that there was no desire to build a relationship with our children.

We love Rosemary so much. She's sat for us for about a year now. She mainly watched my two year old but she's gotten plenty of time with my five and nine year old as well. Rosemary is reliable and trustworthy and I appreciate how flexible she was able to be with my schedule changes. 

My boys can't wait to see R. again!!

We've really enjoyed Rosemary. She fit right in. The baby really took to her as well!!!! She's very nice & we highly recommend her.  Any kid would love her!!!!

She has taken great care of my 3 dogs when I have been out of town. She takes care of their basic needs but also gives them so much attention they barely miss me. 
Rosemary has also helped clean up the house when I have been out of town and does a thorough job.

Rosemary is such a wonderful sitter. She pays very close attention to detail & makes sure that kids are very well taken care of. She enjoys playing with them and genuinely has a love for kids. I will continue to hire her over and over again. 

Great with people especially kids , hard working , picks up new things easily and she's dependable .
