About Rose

I hired Rose for after school care for my 7 & 5 yo, and was very optimistic. Her reference was glowing, and I chose her over several other candidates. She met both kids two times before her start day, but she quit on day 1, when I walked in the door from work. She was excellent with my well-behaved 7yo daughter, but I would NOT recommend her for any children under that age, and especially not boys. She does not have experience with disciplining younger children. My son was testing her limits, as new care provider (normal for a 5yo) and she could not handle this. Unfortunately, she was not willing to work with us. I've had several care givers over 7 years (Au pairs, Nannies, neighborhood high school kids), as I am a working full time physician, and yet to encounter this with anyone else.
