It brings me joy to assist adults and seniors, promoting their independence and overall well-being. My five years of experience in adult and senior care have solidified my passion for making a positive impact on their lives. As a Registered Nurse, Midwife, and Nurse Administrator with 35 years of service in a Teaching Hospital, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my care. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aid, with current CPR and First Aid Training. I provide transportation, run errands, shop, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping. I prioritize individualized care, respecting each person's unique cultural beliefs, values, gender identity, and religion. I communicate with families through written reports and verbal updates, following their preferred method. I am skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and managing confusion or agitation.
