I have cared for family members over many years. I took care of my grandmother for over 10yrs. She wanted to stay in her home. So I cooked, cleaned, ran all her errands, set her meds up weekly, made and took her to all Dr appointments everything she needed done I did. My father-in-law was brought home on hospice I took care of all of his needs 24hrs a day until he passed. I worked with a family that had both parents on hospice. I check vitals, give meds, help with bathing, meal prep, Hoyer lift & house keeping. I worked for a family for 4yrs helping with their 94 old mother. I was her primary care giver. For the last 4 1/2 yrs I have worked for a family taking care of their brother who is a paraplegic. Transfers, wound care, medicine reminders, meals, companionship, help with all his ADL's. I have worked with people in many different situations everything thing from being a companion to caring for hospice/cancer/stroke/Paraplegic/elderly patients. I love what I do!
