I have always been passionate about people, especially seniors because you can learn a lot from them. My grandfather was a key figure in shaping my life, after taking care of him in his last days. My experience working for different doctors in California and Texas prompted me to enter the world of nursing. Unfortunately, I had to postpone my LVN courses to take care of my Mother who was battling cervical cancer. I took take care of her after surgery, cleaning her colostomy, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living. Sickness is not joy to anyone, but having someone who is stable and reliable brings peace of mind.
