About Rosalie

I truly love being around kids and watch them grow. Seeing them do something for the 1st time... priceless. I've cared for newborns to 6 years. I held a NYS Teacher Assistant Cert. K-12 during my years as a teacher- infant and toddler classrooms. I trained and attended workshops to become a CASA advocate too. I turn daily activities into learning:counting food; toys; saying the color of items being used/seen; reading signs on walks. I feel teaching please/thank you is just as beneficial. I've taught sign language to infants to help them communicate. I've cared for children with special needs- acid reflux, speech therapy, to those in need of medical devices. Daily floor exercises/stretches for the little ones. I'm a big animal lover. I have 2 rescues (dog, reptile). I love doing arts/crafts, going for walks. My 4+ years as a CNA supplied me with the tools to handle emergencies with compassion and efficiency. I'm flexible, easy-going and appreciate open communication.
