About Rosa

I met Rosa over a facetime call and hired her on the spot. I could tell she was going to be great but had no idea how amazing she was going to be. My father had a stroke and we needed 24/7 care for him at his apartment. Up until the stroke, he had been living alone. So this was a HUGE change for him and not an easy one to make. Rosa's demeanor with him was calm, steady, encouraging, and steadfast. She was patient and understanding when he was frustrated. She was fun to be around when he was in a more jovial mood. They laughed, they talked, they took long walks, and she answered the same questions over and over as if she had just heard it for the first time. She is so respectful and kind. She managed his medications, answered his calls and helped him navigate this new world. She took him to his medical appointments, and she was my eyes and ears in many situations. She problem solved with me when things were really difficult and came up with creative solutions. She was instrumental is getting his spirits up and he came to really value her opinion and relied on her to explain things to him. My father is not the easiest person to take care of, but he let Rosa help him, he trusted her. Rosa made MY life so much easier because I knew that she also had his best interest at heart. If you are lucky enough to work with Rosa, then you have hit the jackpot in caregivers. She's so much more than what I expected to find and my father and I are beyond grateful for not only her service but her friendship. My father is now in assisted living in order to learn more skills and be independent. Rosa is a gem and we know that we will keep in touch with her. Rosa not only brings a ton of experience and expertise to the job but a giant heart. And that's exactly what is needed when entrusting a loved one to another person for their care. Brava!
