I believe everyone adds up to 100 %. If someone has a deficit in one area, I look for other areas of gifts and abilities. My clients have experienced remarkable results. I focus on finding and expanding their unique and extraordinary talents. For the past 2yrs, I've been working w/ a lovely man with severe autism & anxiety. He has gone from being something of a recuse with no goals or passions or community beyond family and paid caregivers to being a wonderfully gifted glassblowing artist, having a successful business, and enjoying a continually growing community of friends, artists, and admirers. We got there through many small, consistent steps and developing strategies that work well with him. In addition, I have experience working with people with the diagnosis of mental retardation, paranoid schizophrenic, severe traumatic brain injury, non ambulatory requiring feeding, diaper changes, non verbal communication, wheelchair transfers.
