I could not find the right care for my boys so I decided to created that person. And by doing so I have Traveled with families, stay with kids while parents are traveling for weeks at a time

Romena (aka Mena) is a lifesaver! She came in to help me as a first time mom with a newborn and when I tell you she really saved me, that is not an exaggeration. She held my hand through some of the toughest days with figuring out my babies food allergies, fussiness, cues, and more. Without her I would have been so lost as I tried to navigate newborn and new mom life. Thank you Romena for everything you’ve done for our family we love you!

Romena is absolutely amazing- I have a 13 month old girl and have never used a babysitter outside of family before, I was terrified, anxious and felt guilty about leaving my baby. Romena went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable, she came the day before to meet my daughter and hung out for 45 mins just getting to know her and watch how I interact and parent her so that she could do the same in my absence. My daughter immediately was drawn to her and wanted to play and have her hold her instantly. It was such a relief to not only know my daughter was getting such qualified care but also that she enjoyed her so much! She texted me updates to reassure me and just took such amazing care of her. I cannot wait to use her again- any terrified mom out there, use Romena you will not regret it!!!!!  

Romena is one-of-a-kind! She is an excellent communicator, executed all my requests, and is very experienced with infant care. It is easy to see she truly enjoys and is passionate about caring for children. First time moms with young infants, your baby is in the best hands with Romena! 

We absolutely loved having Romena care for our 9 year old and 4 month old boys! She originally wasn’t available but went out of her way to reach back out when she got a cancellation, and we’re so glad she did. She even stopped by beforehand to meet us and the boys. From the moment she arrived, she was kind, friendly, and patient and you could tell right away that she loved what she does. Our boys took to her immediately, and I could tell they felt safe and happy. She’s extremely attentive and truly has a way with children. I’d book her again in a heartbeat!!

There are no words strong enough to express how grateful I am for Ms. Mena. From the very first day, she fit right into our family as if she had always been a part of it. We share similar backgrounds, which made it easy for her to connect with my boys and understand them in ways that go beyond simple caregiving.

She’s not just an amazing sitter — she’s a positive influence, a mentor, and someone I wholeheartedly trust with my children. Her patience, kindness, and the lessons she’s instilled in my boys are things I’ll always be thankful for. They light up when she walks through the door, and that says it all.

Ms. Mena is personable, dependable, and incredibly easy to talk to. She has a warm spirit and a genuine heart that makes everyone around her feel comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to find someone who gives so much of themselves to others with such grace.

I can honestly say she’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to our family. I respect her deeply, trust her completely, and will forever be grateful for the love, time, and care she’s given my boys.

Anyone who gets the chance to have Ms. Mena in their lives will understand exactly why she’s so special.

I am so grateful for the help Romena provides us. She watches our 1-year-old and 3-year-old, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her care and attention. She is incredibly patient and engaging, keeps both kids entertained and happy the whole time. My 3-year-old loves all the creative activities she comes up with, and my 1-year-old is calm and content in her care. Romena is not only dependable and kind, but she truly understands how to nurture and keep young children safe. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a babysitter!

Romena is amazing! She watched my 3 yo for the day and he cried when his time with her was over. He normally takes a while to warm up to new people, but he liked her instantly. She has such an calm, inviting personality with an infectious energy that makes both parents and kids comfortable.  Romena is punctual, she provided locations, pictures and updates throughout the day. Will definitely be hiring her again! 

Ms. Mena is fantastic! Our son LOVES spending time with her, and she is always reliable. She is also very kind and helpful. 

Romena is incredible! We had her stay with our girls (and nieces) while we were vacationing in Cape May and we felt completely comfortable and confident in her. One of our nieces is special needs and Romena was wonderful with her and it was very help she had previous experience with kiddos with similar extra needs. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you, Romena!

Romena, or “Ms. Meena” as our 3 year calls her is a wonderful addition to our growing family. We have two boys 3 and 1 and as a healthcare worker who works frequent weekends, I needed someone reliable and with solid experience that I could count on while I way away at work. Ms. Meena and the boys hit it off quickly and now the 3 year old loves saying “I had a really good day with Ms. Meena”. As a mom herself, she understands the challenges faced by many families and will help guide and navigate your parenthood journey. She helped potty train our son when I thought I couldn’t!!  your children will be great hands with her. 

Romena is always on time and very professional.She cares for all ages  in the most amazing way and is very reliable and on time . You will not be disappointed at all

Mrs. M. has been apart of our family for over 3 years and we absolutely love her! She did a gentle sleep training for our middle son and he has slept great throughout the night and she also got our second son on an amazing sleep schedule. If we could have her care for our kids forever we would. Her energy and presence is so welcoming and calm. If you’re able to make her apart of your family, consider yourself blessed! 

If you are in need of someone reliable, fun and compassionate then look no further. She was wonderful and even kept me updated on my child while I was out (without asking) with pictures. If I could give her more stars I would. 

Our girls have grown up with Romena.  She watched them when they were 2 and 3, and now they are 11 and 12. She’s family to us.

Romena is watching our girls while we  join our good friends for a couples Italy trip for two weeks. We feel fortunate to have that trust in someone to give us the flexibility.

Romena is excellent.  She is timely, great with the kids and always reliable. We love having her.

As a family that has been very dependent on reliable and trustworthy childcare (and a nervous mom 😉) , we’ve had very high standards when choosing babysitters and nannys . Romena joined us without even a hiccup and became family very very quickly.  Our children absolutely LOVE her (and we do to!). She is unbelievably reliable, professional, kind, compassionate, proactive, knowledgeable, TRULY cares about her job and is phenomenal at it!!  I know when she is with my children, they are with someone who truly cares and loves them. And if I can’t be with them, then I couldn’t ask for anything more!  

Experienced, friendly, and attentive to children’s needs!  

My original care giver canceled when we had tickets to an event. Miss Mena was quick to message back and very communicative. She came early to learn the routine and gave us updates on how my seven year old son was doing throughout the night. I would recommend she was our saving grace and I would use her again. 

Romena is the absolute best sitter we’ve ever had. I have 4 wild kids and I’ve never once heard her raise her voice yet they are always in line and having fun- she’s truly a miracle worker (I work from home when she’s here so I would unfortunately hear if she was or they were yelling). She’s impeccably on time, organized, safe, sweet, calm- basically everything you’d ever want from someone watching your kids. I’m not pleased that I am writing this because it’s going to mean more competition getting romena to work for my family, but I’d be lying if I gave anything but a stellar review. You cannot go wrong with “aunt mena” as my kids call her. 

I have known Romena for over 10 years. She took care of my son who is now 17 and is now watching my 3 year old daughter. She is kind, caring, and treats my children like one of her own. I would highly recommend her.
