About Romelia Isabel

My name is Romelia Vallejos, and for the past two years I have dedicated myself to caring for elderly adults with all types of health conditions. During this time, I have worked privately, through agencies, and in a nursing home. I have cared for all types of patients, which has given me experience with bedridden patients, requiring them to be moved every two hours. I have also provided hospital accompaniment, assisted them with their daily activities, helped them transfer from their wheelchair to their bed, and helped them with their medications and medication reminders. I have experience with urinary catheters, colonoscopies, and patients with dementia, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, range of motion assessments, and vital sign monitoring. Communication through the English language is basic; I continue to learn every day how to communicate and make myself understood better, but this has not been an obstacle for me to do my job.
