About Rodeline

It’s hard to express how fortunate we feel to have found Rhodeline. She appeared in our lives during the most desperate time for my family, much like an angel. My mom’s health was deteriorating rapidly. We were scrambling to find help and had no idea where to even begin. We couldn’t find an agency to provide enough hours and we hadn’t even begun applying for any state program. We felt like we were drowning. When I came across Rhodeline on Care.com, I just had a hunch she'd be a good fit for us. I asked if she could start right away and told her we’d need her for a few hours a day, about 4 days a week, and only for one month...just until we could catch our breath and figure things out. Three months later, Rhodeline was still helping us, except staying longer hours and coming more frequently than before, including overnight stays. Every time we ever asked Rhodeline to extend her hours or days, she ALWAYS said “yes”, even when we asked at the last minute. She is always on time and always accessible. Her 20+ years of experience and expertise really shows, which lends to a peace of mind that is truly priceless. My sister once confided she was terrified of being alone with my mom if/when she might have some kind of an emergency. She asked Rhodeline, “what would I do, because calling 911 would only result in her going to the hospital (which our mom didn't want)?”. Rhodeline answered, “You’ll call me.” That’s the kind of person she is. When Rhodeline arrives, she brings a sense of calm and confidence that makes you feel like everything will be ok. So, if it's not already obvious, we adore this woman. She is family to us now and always will be. If ever you have an opportunity for her to care for someone you love, do not waste a second thinking it over. People like Rholdeline simply don't come along twice. My family and I will forever be grateful.
