About Rochelle

I will start by saying that Rochelle is a lovely person. My child took to her instantly. She was positive and willing to help where needed. Unfortunately, we only had the opportunity to work with Rochelle for a couple of visits. She ended up taking a position that better suited her schedule. We were quite surprised when she told us she was leaving because when we initially spoke with her, we outlined the schedule and that we were looking for something long term. Based on how she responded, we understood it to be a good fit and that it worked perfectly with her schedule. Rochelle started out very engaged with our son the first week. The second week (the week before Rochelle ultimately stepped away from her role), suddenly that changed. She wasn't as engaged and making as much effort as she had been before. The next week, the week she left, she was scheduled M/Tu/Th. She called out sick Monday and again Tuesday (not a problem, people get sick). Wednesday she messaged me about 10pm to tell me she will not be able to work with us anymore, that she took something else. I doubt the two are related at all, but it is something to think about. Overall, we would recommend Rochelle for what we understand her to be capable of to a family she is committed to.
