I describe myself as a helper and lifelong caregiver. As a child, I loved caring for dolls and creating daily schedules full of fun activities for my little brother and me. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Denver with an emphasis on human development. After raising my own two children, I spent three years as a full-time paid caregiver for a young child. My background also includes supporting children and young adults with developmental disabilities, special education, literacy intervention, in-home daycare, and most recently nannying an infant and toddler. I love getting to know kids as individuals, helping them explore their interests and follow their curiosity. I enjoy reading aloud, exploring nature, going on outings, and being creative and silly. I'm nurturing, calm, reliable, organized, and adaptable. I value open communication and teamwork with parents. I hope to find a good fit for both your family and me!
