About Robin

My background in childcare began early on in my life. People Place, a resource center for parents/families of the greater Ames area, offered many childcare programs which I attended as a child, and later participated in as an adult, providing that care. During that time I was also a babysitter for many families and later transitioned to nannying, in addition to adult caregiving. The last couple of year I have been caregiving for family and am ready to get back into childcare. Over the years I have amassed experience with all age ranges, from newborn on up. I treat every situation I encounter with compassion, patience, and understanding. I love to get down on the ground level with kids and engage in play. I look forward to meeting your family and making fun memories for your children. Whether it's a just few hours on a date night, or something more long term. Outside of what I do, I enjoy music, cooking, and spending time with those I'm closest to.
