About Robin

Experienced childcare in child's home for children on the spectrum. I have been a preschool teacher, substitute teacher in the district schools, and respite caregiver for special needs children of military families. My personality is curious creative, storyteller. When you find the right things to interest them, they just shine. I want to work with special needs children, so I can be a safe but fun way for parents to have date nights, gym time, shop, or simply just dinner or a nap all on their own! Love to read, write, do projects on my 1924 cottage, see family and friends. I am so very patient and gentle with children in my care. As a mom, I know how I would want my children cared for, and try to let the children lead me to activities and projects they will love. Patience, insight and child devellpemrnt knowledge. These skills were earned over many years in teaching and child care, and last 7 years working in respite care with children 18 months to 12 years!
