I am a former teacher with experience in grades K-8 as a Librarian/Media Specialist with classroom experience as well. My husband is still working and my daughter moved to California. Visions of grandchildren haven't materialized yet. I do have a grand dog that has become my dog since my daughter moved to California. I have tried to kept busy with redecorating my house, reading many books, picked up a few new hobbies and volunteered at various places. What I've realized is, I just miss the fun I had with the kids I taught. I'm looking for an opportunity to learn/create with, play alongside and yes nurture children.
