I recently relocated to this area from Michigan after my husband and I sold our family farm. Our 4 children have grown and scattered but 1 settled with her family in Burlington and was influential in our decision to move here. I worked 40+ years as an RN in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as providing home care and childbirth education. My last 15 years were on the Transitional Care Unit of our local hospital. There I supervised nurse aides and gave direct bedside care to mostly elderly patients who needed extra time for PT, OT, IV therapy or wound care before returning home. We had some hospice cases, too. Besides basic nursing skills, I am a certified yoga teacher and can implement restorative positioning, suggest breathing techniques, and give great foot rubs. I am calm, clear, creative and accommodating. I look forward to working with you!

Robin has an extensive background in nursing, cooking and taking care of people. She is easy to get along with, responsible, highly ethical, and caring. I have been a friend of Robin for over 20 years. I know her entire family. I spent many hours at her farm in Michigan. After my stroke in 2016, Robin invited me to her house twice before she moved out of Michigan. During those visits she prepared meals, helped me with bathing, and made me feel comfortable, even getting a bedside commode for me, and then cleaning it herself. Robin accompanied me to my cousin's wedding in New York. Her assistance was invaluable, and was graciously given. Robin would be an asset to any family in need of help. I highly recommend her.
