About Robin

I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, with over 16 years experience. I have 8 years experience as an Elementary Educator, currently a Core + Teacher specializing in reading and math. I was a substitute teacher for 3 years and taught PreK-1st grade for an additional 4 years. I owned and operated my own Child Care business for 8-years to stay home with my children. I watched children birth - school age, multiples and special needs children. We did various fun age appropriate activities. Throughout my career I have worked with children with disabilities and developmental delays, speech delays, and Diabetes. I was a cheerleading assistant and a horseback riding instructor. As I teach/tutor students I use manipulatives to meet their specific needs and help them to learn in the best way possible. I engage them in the learning process, model for them and support them as they learn and grow. I promote parent participation and stay connected regularly.
