Hi, I'm Robin (she/her)! I'm a trained postpartum doula working towards certification with DONA International. I'm currently accepting doula requests from families with a new baby who are seeking evening care (Monday-Thursday) and/or daytime care (Friday-Sunday). As a postpartum doula I provide practical, informational, and emotional support to families adjusting to having a new baby in the home. As a trans and AuDHD woman, I specialize in caring for queer and neuro-spicy families in the New York Capital Region. Every family deserves a doula they don't have to explain themselves to. I serve with empathy and without judgement. I'm flexible and easygoing by nature and above all I respect your right to parent your child/children as you see fit. Robin has been a wonderful nanny for our baby these past few months while I work from home. She is an attentive, reliable, responsive, and loving caregiver. She openly communicates with me about the baby and will voice any questions or concerns without any judgment, while respecting my wishes. Robin also comes up with ways to help my baby reach developmental milestones, such as rolling over and sitting up. She plays with, reads, sings, and talks to my baby regularly. My baby feels comfortable and safe with her. Additionally, Robin is more than happy to assist with light housekeeping, and frequently asks me what she can do to help make my day easier. She has been such a tremendous blessing to my family and is a genuinely kind person. My husband and I are so thankful for her support as we navigate becoming new parents. We highly recommend her for childcare positions.
