There's nothing better than helping them try new things and hearing them proudly cry out, "I did it, Auntie Robin! I did it!" I tell them, "Good job!" at every accomplishment and encourage them when they struggle (let's face it--they all do at some point). I focus on fun and letting kids be kids using games, sports, blocks, flash cards, paints, markers, crayons, construction paper, pipe cleaners, beads, etc.! (I come fully equipped and provide preschool preparation as part of my services.) (Zoo, museum or garden memberships would never go to waste!) I am CPR-and First Aid-certified, and will meet whatever task/schedule needs the family may have. Background check/driving record available. References upon request. Robin babysat my girls for quite some time and had some very strong opinions about my parenting style. She was spending adequate amounts of time on her phone, specifically on phone calls where she was very aggravated and yelling at the person on the phone. I wouldn’t normally care but it’s around my kids. Her last day with us, she called my daughter a brat and called them numerous names. My girls also had quite a bit to say about her treatment of them, resulting in her being fired. Be careful!
