About Roberta

I've worked with children of all ages for several decades. In my personal life, since the early 1980's; professionally since the early 2000's. I'm currently employed by Mt Baker Schools as a substitute teacher & para-educator and in Ferndale Schools as a substitute para-educator. I am on the 'request' list at the Early Intervention Preschool. I am a licensed mental health counselor with child & developmental disability mental health specialities. Last September, I stopped practicing in that field to work more closely with children in a more natural environment, so to speak. I'm trained and experienced in multiple areas including trauma work, positive parenting approaches and child development and mental health-from birth through adulthood. With all that experience and training, I am also able to support your approach with your child. I love arts, crafts, reading, community, learning & more.
