In 2001, I began working for a woman confined to a wheelchair. She needed assistance with transferring, bathing, dressing, meals, medications, Dr. appointments, companionship and more. In 2005, I began working for a gentleman with dementia. He also had a heart condition and required help transferring to his wheelchair. My duties included: Bathing, dressing, meals, medications, Dr. appointments, errands, companionship and more. I am currently working for a 64-year-old quadriplegic. She requires assistance with her colostomy, catheter and transferring. My duties include dressing, meals, dispensing medications, appointments, companionship and more. I also have many references from previous jobs.

It came down to two applicants. Her application stood out for me because it was only 2 of 42 applicants willing to send her references to my PO Box so I could check them. Her references were glowing. I know she would have done a great job for us. Since Roberta didn't work for me, I cannot attest to her punctuality or dependability personally but according to her references she was an incredible employee. Missed messages crossing is the main reason I didn't hire her. She will be a find for some family.
