Started my health care journey as a Certied Nursing Assistant-CNA for many years. Later I went to work in a hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit as well as ICU. Later Med Surge/ER where I was also certified in Patient Care Tech. C-PCT Introduced to hospice care, working on the home team for 2 years where I was prompted by my supervisor to become certified. Roberta did a wonderful job taking care of my 84 year old mother, stroke survivor and Alzheimer's patient. Not only did Roberta patiently assist mother with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, she worked diligently to engage mother socially which aided recovery from the stroke and seemed to slow progression of the Alzheimer's. She accomplished all this with a patient that was frequently very difficult to deal with. Roberta was also highly communicative, providing me with frequent updates regarding her observations of mother. We parted with Roberta on excellent terms and I am happy to provide my recomendation.
