About R. Maia

Hi, my name is Maia! After college, I worked as a substitute teacher and I am currently a paraprofessional while working toward my teaching certification. I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. I enjoy planning engaging activities, helping with learning and development, and creating a positive environment where children & families feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Working with children throughout my life has taught me how important trust is when caring for someone's child. My younger brother was the first child I cared for, and he remains one of the most important people in my life. The love, patience, and encouragement I gave to him are the same qualities I bring to every family I work with. I would be grateful for the opportunity to provide that same level of care and support to your child.
