About River

After years of caring for children, I earned my associate's degree in teaching and am continuing my education in child development and secondary education. Currently, I teach ages 2-4 at a preschool, making me familiar with the daily needs and wants of young children. Because of my experience with babysitting and volunteer work, I am comfortable with the challenges of all ages, from teething to potty training to homework help. I love facilitating play and creativity with fun activities and excursions. Some of my hobbies involve hiking, reading, and playing with my dog. I also have a passion for cooking and a compulsion to keep things tidy. I hope that I can be an asset to your family by providing childcare in the evenings and on weekends.
