About River

Bringing six years of childcare experience, I'm eager to connect with a family and provide nurturing care for their child. My path to becoming a caregiver stems from positive experiences in previous babysitting roles. It's a passion of mine to work with children. I'm currently in college to become a teacher and I also work as an educational assistant at a pre-k and a martial arts teacher. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational activities that promote learning. I am patient, calm, creative, and a problem solver. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. Communication is key. I always follow the parents' preferred communication method. I'm comfortable caring for one to five children at any age. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I have First Aid and CPR Training. I am looking forward to bringing my enthusiasm and skills to your family.
