About Rita

I cared for both my mother and in-laws until their passings. My father-in-law was left severely brain-damaged, from surgery and he was total care. We had nurses and aides as well. I assisted with all of his daily routines, including bathing, dressing and feeding. After their deaths, I needed a break, but am now ready to return to a full-time care position, preferably where other family members are present, or in a facility. I also worked at Strong as a Patient Care Technician on a gynecology-oncology unit, and simply loved it. I did all kinds of typical nurses' aid tasks; answering lights, ambulating, taking vital signs, blood sugars and phlebotomy tasks, as well as just being a listening ear. Although I am older now, still feel as though I have the energy and stamina to do work like this again. I am a gentle and compassionate person, and would love to help others who need a helping hand, or full time care.
