Numerous times I've said to friends and family members, "Everyone should have a Rita. But you can't have my Rita; you have to find your own." That sentiment reflects just how much we've grown to love her and how she truly feels like family. We hired Rita in fall of 2019, to watch our 2 year old for two days a week. I worked from home and we were anticipating our second son's arrival, so we needed the help. We hoped for someone who would occupy him, take him on adventures around town, and just spend time playing with and nurturing him. We found that in Rita, and so much more. We look forward to the days she comes, to her practical ways of helping and her positive presence in our home. Not only do I trust her 100% from a caregiving/safety standpoint, but I see her having such a positive influence on their lives and their character. Our 2 year old already has learned from her and mimics her in ways I adore and value. THAT is the person you want in your home, with your family.
