I have 10 yrs of accumulated Healthcare experience in Senior care and 8 yrs experience working with adults with Developmental Disabilities. I have cared for residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Daily care include: bathroom needs, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands, driving them to/from appointments or going for a ride just to get out of the house and companionship. I have compassion and respect for the resident and their home. Keeping a loved one at home and letting them have as much independence as possible, is the best medicine. I have great respect for the elderly. They are wise and I learn so much from them. They have cared for us, now it's our turn to care for them. I'm a non smoker!!
