I have 11yrs of accumulated Healthcare experience in Senior care and 8 yrs experience working with adults with Developmental Disabilities. I have cared for residents with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's. Daily care include: bathroom needs, bathing, dressing, grooming and oral care. Housekeeping: cooking, cleaning or tidying up and laundry. Shopping/running errands. Driving them to and from appointments or going for a ride just to get out of the house and companionship. I have compassion and respect for the resident and their home. Keeping a loved one at home and letting them have as much independence as possible, is the best medicine. I have great respect for the elder. They are wise and I learn so much from them. They have cared for us, now it's our turn to care for them. I'm a non smoker and comfortable with pets!!
