About Rita

I have been pet sitting, house sitting and companion care for five years. I was a full time mom to my three children, who are now teens and adult. I quit my employment to raise them and took my care giving role seriously. I consider myself a professional level care giver due to my experience. I have taken parenting classes, read countless parenting books, and see the parenting success in my children daily. I was the leader of La Leche League of Burlington for 13 years. I believe in the loving guidance approach to child rearing and I do not spank. I am patient and loving, and believe that you cannot spoil a child with attention and love. Babies have a strong need for touch and interaction. Even newborns crave interaction with us to learn about the world around them. I feel a well balanced daily routine is very important, as is daily time outside in fresh air. I look forward to meeting you!
