About Rita

I was a full time mom to my three children, who are now successful adults. I quit my employment to raise them and took my care-giving role seriously. For four years I have been nanny for three families, most recent in Utah County. I focus on safety first, loving guidance, and some occasional nonsensical fun. I have taken parenting classes, read countless parenting books, and see the parenting success in my children daily. I was a breastfeeding support group facilitator for 13 years, so am familiar with breastfeeding and supporting breastfeeding moms. I believe in the "loving guidance"approach to child rearing. I am patient and loving, and believe that you cannot spoil a child with attention and love. Babies have a strong need for touch and interaction. Even newborns crave interaction with us to learn about the world around them. I feel that a well balanced daily routine is very important, as is daily time outside in the fresh air.
