About Ripley

I've spent much of my life working with children, and I genuinely love getting to know them as individuals. I worked at Rocky Hill Elementary School for three years during college, leading groups in their after-school and summer programs, and later spent 11 years as a director with Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. I also have a degree in Psychology and experience caring for children one-on-one, including spending the past 4 years caring for a child from infancy through age 4. I'm currently a freelance photographer and writer, so I have a flexible schedule for part-time caregiving. I'm creative, patient, responsible, and engaged. I love getting outside, making things, reading, playing, exploring, and following whatever strange little interest a kid happens to be obsessed with that week. I'm happy to follow your family's routines and expectations, while making sure your child feels safe, respected, and genuinely seen. CPR and First Aid trained.
