About Rio

Rio was basically our nanny for a little over a year, taking care of our two kiddos, then aged 5 and 3, whenever we needed, picking them up from preschool, caring for them while we parents worked 60+ hour a week jobs, cooking for them and giving us a chance for a weekly date night. The kids loved Rio the minute they met her (the four other people we interviewed didn't even come close). She is fun and spirited, upbeat, creative, knows how to manage even the most frenzied toddler mood, and engages so well with the kids. Our little girl (3), who rarely warms up to anyone, found an immediate soulmate in Rio. Our young boy (5) found her smoothies particularly tasty. We also had Rio cook vegan meals for us for several days and put them in the fridge to make life easier. She is well-versed in healthy, nutritious cooking. The fact that it always tasted great was a bonus. Rio always cleaned up the kids' lunch boxes from school & after any activities. In short, she made life much easier.
