About Riley
Experience: 1 yr
I mostly tutor for English as a second language. I have a passion for all languages, and I understand how helpful it can be to have a native speaker who can help you practice. I'm very patient and understanding, and I enjoy finding new ways to explain English to help learners understand. I've helped multiple foreign language speakers understand concepts in English that most teachers don't explain, and I'm known for being creative with my descriptions. Currently I speak some French (level A2-B1) and a small amount of Spanish (Beginner A1). When I tutor, I focus on pronunciation, grammar, and word choice, as well as real-world language to prepare for real life outside of the textbook.
