About Riley

I'd describe my personality as caring, calm, and understanding. I like working with kids because they make every day exciting. A bonus is that working with children at young ages provided opportunities for teachable moments and you can see them grow into young adults. I'm looking for a job that provides a sense of routine. I enjoy working the same schedule. I also think working a consistent schedule is beneficial for the children because it allows for a sense of normalcy and comfort. I started working with kids when I was a sophomore in high school. I was apart if the Early Childhood Education Career Technical Program which gave me opportunities to work in Daycare facilities, Elementary schools, and Preschools. One thing you should know about me is I believe in promoting independence within children. My skills include effective communication, creative activities/lessons, and mediation.
