About Riley

Hi my name is Riley! I like working with kids because I love to spend time with kids and see the world in a different perspective. when I was 14 I started babysitting kids around my neighborhood. Working my way up to YMCA child care programs when I turned 16. I worked for 4 summers as a camp counselor at the ymca in day programs and in sleep away camps. In my spare time, I like to paint, sew, carpentry and hanging with my 2 cats and my dog! I love to bring a craft or an activity to help pass the time and do something fun! I am CPR certified and fully child safety trained. My skills include Dedication and responsibility- showing up on time, making sure kids are doing things like eat bath time or sleep at appropriate hours, and keeping the house clean and safe. Keeping children engaged and entertained- not just putting on a movie or tv but planning activities like crafts or games and being fully present and participating in the activities with your kids.
