About Riley

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. With two years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, and test preparation for elementary and middle school students. I actively listen to how you interact with new material, allowing me to adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate your small successes to build momentum. I believe open communication creates a trusting environment, and I provide regular updates to ensure we are working as a team. Witnessing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and am comfortable working in your home, at a center, or in a library. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!
