About Riley

Hi! I'm Riley, an experienced educator and tutor who works with upper-elementary, middle, and high school students. I support learners in reading, writing, study skills, executive functioning, and social-emotional development, with a focus on building confidence and independence. I have several years of experience working with students who learn differently and am currently completing Orton-Gillingham Level 1 training. I will be starting my M. Ed. in School Counseling in Summer 2026. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and highly individualized. I meet students where they are, build on strengths, and create practical strategies that reduce frustration and help learning feel more manageable. I value strong communication with families and adjust goals as students grow. I work with students in grades 4-12 and tailor sessions to each child's academic and emotional needs.
