About Riley

Hi, I'm Riley! I'm hoping to connect with a family in the central Vermont area who is looking for consistent & nurturing infant care. I hold my B. S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Vermont & a level IVA early childhood educator certificate from Northern Lights. I am also in the process of becoming a DONA-certified birth doula! I have over six years of experience working with children ages six weeks through 13 years in both in-home and center settings. My care philosophy is to nurture the whole family unit through gentle care practices. My background in human development will help me provide your entire family with support as you grow through the changes that welcoming a new little one brings. I believe in fostering infant learning through sensory play, involvement in (and verbal processing throughout) daily tasks, serve-and-return social interactions, lots of reading and singing, and being outdoors as much as possible.
