About Richie

I started talking with Richie about care for my father and he sounded like exactly who we were looking for. HOWEVER, my Father was completely against it. So we decided to stay in touch until the timing was better. Well that’s exactly what happened. Richie would check in with me and offer ideas, resources and suggestions for us to try…he cared before he even started. Then, when we felt like we couldn’t wait any longer…we had him come by to meet. My Dad refused to meet him…we tried again a few weeks later and this time….MAGIC! Richie got my Dad exercising and then into the shower and shaved and cleaned up in a matter of hours…I had been trying for 2 weeks!!! My Dad looked happier and felt better almost immediately. They take walks, do exercise, talk, play games, care for hygiene….it’s wonderful. Since then I’ve relied on Richie a few days every week and I wish I could do more! I’m so grateful to have found a skilled, professional, caring, patient and overall amazing care giver, companion, friend for my Father. He is truly a gift.
