About Richard

Unlocking a student's potential begins with fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. With three years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, History, and test preparation for students ranging from elementary school through college. I empower you to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting them to your personal interests. I adapt my teaching style using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions to ensure you thrive. Because I prioritize clear communication, I work closely with you and your family to set expectations and track progress. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or online to help you succeed, and I truly look forward to growing alongside you.
