I am passionate about helping your students develop a solid mathematical foundation while learning to enjoy math as a practical problem solving method. Math seems to have obtained a bad reputation for being impossible except to those who grasp it naturally; I see it as my life calling to disprove that and help any and all develop confidence in their math abilities. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching with math concentration (6-12th grade) at Liberty University online and received a B. A. in Political Science at the University of Michigan, where I also took Calculus I-III. Furthermore, I previously volunteered and now work part time in the Boys & Girls Club elementary room, where I have learned how to engage with children for more than two years. I also volunteer at my church's youth group for 6-12th graders, which has further developed interpersonal skills in working with youth. I hope I can be of assistance and look forward to connecting with you! God bless!
