My mother had some dementia the last couple of years of her life, so I've witnessed it both professionally and personally. It can be challenging, for sure. Richard provided outstanding care for my father. My father had Parkinson’s with Lewy body dementia and a challenging set of symptoms. He could be weak or unsteady, paranoid, and very cognitively impaired. This made him wary of new people, and Richard handled it extremely well. He was always patient when he needed to be and engaging when he could be. He did a great job reading the mood and providing the right care for the situation. I found Richard to be the most patient, polite, and thoughtful of any of the caretakers we had. I wish we had found him sooner. Richard has a natural inclination for caregiving and will be a great asset to any family in need of support. Please feel free to call me.
