Hello, I worked as an LPN on a neuro-surgical unit at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC for 8 years prior to changing careers. I have since retired and now have the privilege of doing home healthcare for the past 4 years which I enjoy and find very rewarding. I'm very compassionate, reliable, detail oriented, with strong bedside manner and nursing skills ranging from ambulatory and companion support to memory and end-of-life care. I foster dignity, encouragement, self empowerment, and have lots of experience assisting with Physical Therapy. Often called a 'natural caregiver.' Excellent listener and talker with a chronically upbeat attitude, physically fit and strong, athletic - gym regularly, energetic and love to keep busy, so downtime chores welcomed!
