Hello, my name is Rica and I provide childcare on Fridays and weekends for work or date nights. I am CPR certified and trained in infant/child first aid, and have several years of newborn-toddler nannying experience. I am also a portrait artist and animal/nature lover, and enjoy sharing my passion for learning about both with little ones!

Rica was great! Our kids loved her and she was on time and very easy to work with. We will definitely work with her again next time we are in Northern MI

Rica has come twice now to be with our 3 and 7 year old active boys. Our 3 year old had just come out of a full leg cast with restrictions and our 7 year old has a host of allergies that Rica handled beautifully. The boys have had such a wonderful time with Rica and they are looking forward to her returning soon to swim and play workshop again. Would highly recommend Rica, as she kept the boys active and safe!

Rica has been an immediate hit with my 9 year old and 4 year old. They both took to her quickly and are delighted to hear she is coming over. She is enthusiastic and actively involved in activities with both of them while she is here. She doesn’t hesitate to go on an adventure outside or to do messy crafts. So happy to have found her!

Rica was such a great help during our wedding. We did not worry as our daughter was in amazing hands. She is everything you could ask of a great sitter!

Rica is a wonderful care giver. She has great instincts and takes charge easily. She goes above and beyond when caring for our one year old. From our first meeting I got good vibes and I appreciated her gentle nature, kind spirit. I would 100% recommend her! 

Rica was amazing with my very picky kiddo. Brought extra toys to play with. She definitely made the most out of a difficult situation (long hours with a new person) and my son absolutely adored her and was excited for her tome visit. If we end up in the area again we will definitely see if Rica would have availability to baby sit further

Rica was amazing! We were in town for a wedding and she watched our one-year old daughter two nights in a row. She was very prepared with notes from our call and she even brought a bag of toys! On the second night, our friends babysitter cancelled so we added a second baby and she handled that with ease! Both babies were not feeling great but Rica was amazing with both babies. Would highly recommended Rica for any babysitting job!

Rica is an absolute gem and we are so thankful we hired her to watch our three kids for two days during our vacation in Northern Michigan. She has a wonderful calming presence and great energy. Rica is also an amazing artist and was happy to draw with my kids. After the kids expressed enthusiasm about the artwork, on the second day, she even brought over paper and colored pencils because we didn’t have any with us. She also offered to take the kids to the park because the kids wanted to go on an adventure. She was somehow able to manage their very different personalities flawlessly. I was nervous to hire a sitter for our trip but it was honestly the best decision. Rica was so calm and professional. My daughter said she was the best babysitter she ever had! I highly recommend Rica and only wish we lived closer so we could see her sooner, and definitely plan to hire her again on our next trip!

Rica was honestly the best babysitter we’ve ever had! She was extremely professional (came prepared with activities and notes from our introductory call about my kids) and had a very calm and loving demeanor. I wish we were local to MI so she could babysit more often. If you are in the area, I highly recommend hiring Rica.

Our puppy Oliver was greeted with affection as soon as we arrived by both Rica and her 2 pups. They have a lovely fenced in back yard to run and play Greeley. Oliver was treated just like family in her home. I’m pretty sure he was sad to leave when we arrived to pick him up. Rica communicated with us everyday to let us know how he was doing while we were away. She is very responsive to messages. I would absolutely rehire Rica for future needs

Our kids love Rica and so do we! We hired Rica during our vacation. She was reliable, punctual, has great communication skills and able to take charge. We will absolutely plan on rehiring Rica!

Rica is a wonderful sitter and our kids love spending time with her. We hired Rica to watch our 18 month old and 5 year old as an occasional sitter. Our 18 month old has very little experience with sitters and we were anticipating he might be nervous and sad. Rica has the confidence and calm that comes from experience, and our little one connected with her right away. The kids had a great time playing and drawing with her. Rica was very responsive, easy to schedule with, and did a fantastic job.  We recommend her highly and will work with her again in the future.

Hands down a great sitter! She did an awesome job with our son he was all smiles 

Rica is an absolute joy to have as a regular sitter. She is loving to our kids, compassionate, responsible, and extremely dependable. She makes sure they are doing what they're supposed to do while making the evening fun and creative. My sons look forward to her being at our house and are sad when she's gone. I feel lucky to have found someone who is honestly the perfect babysitter!!

Rica is wonderful!  She has watched our now 2 year old twice when we were in town skiing.  She is great with kids, my son warmed up to her immediately.  She was right on time and I felt confident in her ability to take care of my son.  Would highly recommend!

Rica was a fantastic babysitter for us! For our first babysitting session she asked all the right questions, was very knowledgeable about children and handled three little boys like a pro. We would definitely hire her again (and plan to do so)!
