About Rian

Caring for my grandmother and bonus dad as well as working in nursing homes & private home care taught me the realities of caregiving and the importance of reliable support for families. I'm patient, understanding, compassionate and professional. I communicate openly with families often using a daily log to keep everyone informed. Immediate concerns are addressed via calls or texts. Building a connection is important to me, and I do so by learning about their life, respecting their dignity, and supporting their independence as safely as possible. I have experience with dementia care, including Lewy Body and Alzheimer's, catheters, diabetes, CHF, oxygen, medication management, some wound care, and I'm always open to learning what works best for each individual. I provide personal care as well as home health & hospice support. I am comfortable with pets including feeding them & letting them in/out. I do light house work.
