Building a connection is important to me, and I do so by learning about their life, respecting their dignity, and supporting their independence as safely as possible. I have experience with dementia care, including Lewy Body and Alzheimer's, catheters, diabetes, CHF, oxygen, medication management, some wound care, and I'm always open to learning what works best for each individual. Rian has helped our family the last three months as we have brought dad into our home to help him as he dealt with cancer. She has brought energy, knowledge, a caring attitude, and a firm but loving hand to our father to ensure he does things safely as she cares for him. She also has stressed she is here for the family and has helped us with our grandkids on the days we watch them. We felt comfortable leaving her with dad very early and it allowed us much needed respite. Communication has been great and Rian is prompt and willing to change her schedule to meet ours. I would highly recommend her for caring for a senior loved one and also young children as we have leaned on her at times to help with the grandkids.
