About Rhonda

I am a home school mother to 3 children aged 24, 21, and 16. I have babysat since I was 14 years old, taught children of all ages for the past 28 years, parented my own children for the past 24 years, and home schooled for the past 19 years. I have always preferred to be with children instead of adults! I knew that God was calling me for a lifetime of working with children, and I got my Elementary Education degree with specializations in Early Childhood and Speech/Drama. I worked in preschools, church nurseries, and church day care centers all throughout my college and young adult years. I also volunteered as director in my church's infant/crawlers Sunday School room for 12 years. After becoming a mother, I moved more into teaching home school children (ages 4-18) in various classes throughout the week. As I only have one child left at home who is an independent learner and driving herself, I have thoroughly enjoyed nannying/babysitting and tutoring part time over the past 2 years!

Rhonda is loving, responsible, punctual, and dependable. She is an incredibly talented teacher/tutor with a particular gift for young children. She has a deep understanding of early childhood development backed up by not only by a top-notch education from Baylor University, but also by her many years of experience teaching children from a wide variety of backgrounds. I would trust (and have) Rhonda with my children, my home, and my pets. If I searched high and low for the most caring, responsible, creative, energetic, and caring individual I could find to entrust my treasures (children, pets, etc) with, I do not think I could find anyone better-suited to the tasks than Rhonda. I would absolutely hire her again, and again, and again. She always strives to give her best, and she succeeds. She is a ten plus, plus, plus.
