About Rhoda Jean

I'd describe my personality as caring, fun loving and, steady. I like working with kids because they are unapologetically themselves. I believe that God made each child with a special identity that we as caregivers get to encourage them in as they learn who they are. I love the way kids see the world with exciting new perspectives and big imaginations. I grew up with younger siblings so I have always been around children. I started babysitting for a job when I was 16 and I've been doing it off and on ever since. In my spare time, I like traveling, hiking with friends, playing my violin, doing crafts and dancing. One thing you should know about me is that I have first responder training. I've been trained in CPR, abdominal thrust, as well as first aid skills for both children and adults. My skills include communication, engaging with children so they feel seen, and cared for. And creating a fun, and safe environment for child to play and learn in.
